Who We Are

Deglan Contracting is a family-owned and operated excavating company that has served the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas since 1952. We take pride in being an industry leader in maximizing machine efficiency and being a company that has continued to operate for over 60 years via client referrals. In lieu of marketing campaigns, we bring experience, knowledge, integrity, professionalism, honesty, and compassion to every job we do and, as a result, our clients return to us for any and all future projects.

Deglan Contracting is owned by Gary and Karin Deglan. Gary was brought up in an earthworks/construction family and has over 40 years experience operating various heavy duty equipment. He has an eye for detail and a knack for contour and finish landscaping. He also knows how to best utilize existing soils. Gary, along with his equally qualified son, Clayton, are the main equipment operators of the company, while Karin runs the office.

Deglan Contracting works in alliance with Deglan Mechanical, a plumbing and gas company owned by Gary’s oldest son, Jordan. Jordan is also a trained heavy equipment operator.
